  1. WRITING DEMONS This multiple-choice program 
  2. helps students recognize common problems in 
  3. writing. Each text contains up to four 
  4. underlined choices, one of which may be 
  5. identified as a run-on sentence, comma fault,
  6. sentence fragment, misplaced or dangling 
  7. modifier, or one of several other writing 
  8. errors. In response to a wrong answer, the 
  9. computer shows the corrected sentence and 
  10. explains why it is right.
